Pass 12th

After passing the 10th exam, you can apply for the Foundation Course Examination directly. Apart from this, you can also apply after the 12th.  But in this exam, you can sit only after the 12th standard. And there is no need for too many Marks.

Register for Foundation Course Examination

The first foundation course was named CPT and it is an entry-level test. Which happens every year in May and November. You can register by going to the website of the institute of chartered accountants of India (ICAI).

Clear the Foundation Course Test

Once you register for the foundation course test, after that you will have to sit in this exam and clear this foundation course test. In this exam, you will be asked questions on Accounting, Mercantile Law, Business Economics and General English, etc.

There will be a total of 4 papers in this exam of 100-100 marks. And each paper will be of 3 hours. Apart from this, you should have 40% marks in each subject of the exam and total marks should be above 50%.

Register for Intermediate Course

Once you register the CA Foundation course and clear it by bringing good marks in all the exams, then you have to register for the intermediate course. This course is also called IPCC. It has a full form of integrated professional competency course.

Clear the CA Final Course

1. Group 1 will have 4 papers namely Financial Reporting, Strategic Financial Management, Advanced Auditing, and Professional Ethics, and Corporate and Allied Laws.
